CPS students explore state park

Third graders in Mrs. Thomason's and Mrs. Willis' classes left for the Crater of Diamonds State Park Friday morning for a day of diamond mining and helping others. The students earned the trip when they were awarded a scholarship from the National Park Trust in the first Kids to Park Day contest. 2012 Annual Mini Health Extravaganza

With assistance from Medical Park Hospital and the HPS Child Nutrition department, HPS nurses are once again working to keep school employees healthy with the annual mini health extravaganza. The project, which is in its fifth year, provides a variety of lab tests and vital checks for school employees at their campuses. Congratulations to the HHS class of 2012

Nearly 130 seniors became graduates of Hope High School Friday, May 11. The group made the traditional walk across the new Summit Field in Hammons Stadium before a sizable crowd. Retiring superintendent Kenneth Muldrew, a 1967 graduate of Henry C. Yerger High School, was the commencement speaker.
